My Dad….still teaching me.

IT’s hard knowing your a warrior, but with no battle to prove it to yourself.
We battle everyday, to provide for our family, to stay humble when wronged, to fight temptation and come out victorious. I’m not a cop yet, but everyday i’m a warrior.

Years later I can see the value of every lesson my dad taught me or tried to teach me. As a kid I couldn’t appreciate it and sometimes I couldn’t understand why he was teaching me such things, but now I realize he had been there before. Hold tight to the lessons taught by those who came before us because one day we will have to teach them back.
